The air temperature lately has been pretty chilly; which means there is all the more reason to fill our thoughts and hearts with things that bring us warmth!

There are many ways to express love in our lives. Certainly sending a greeting card to let someone know you are thinking about them, or thank them for a kindness that they have shown you, is a tried and true method to bring a little sunshine into their lives. If you need a card as unique as that special someone I hope you'll take a look through my quilted and stitched photo cards to see if the perfect card is just waiting for you to find it.

One of the reasons that I love quilting, is that it is a tangible form of love and caring. When we make something for another, our thoughts of care go into the process of creating. The lucky recipients then get to wrap themselves up in all that love and those good thoughts for years to come. Even when quilts find homes with people I don't know (yet) nothing makes me happier than knowing that that someone is enjoying all the pleasure I had playing with the colors, the textures, the designs and techniques.
