Monique Kleinhans--Textile Artist

Textile artist Monique Kleinhans creates with a fusion of traditional and contemporary techniques, using patchwork, bobbin-work, thread painting, watercolors, felting, and weaving. Her palette includes hand-dyed and hand-painted fabrics, recycled and found materials, and often features three-dimensional objects in an exploration of Story through fibers and textures. 

Monique’s art is deeply rooted in the beauty of Montana’s Flathead Valley, where she grew up on the same farm as her father and grandfather, and learned quilting from her mother. Every piece of her art celebrates the history, adventures, wildlife, and stunning natural landscapes that have inspired her family for generations. Monique’s creations are a testament to the rich tapestry of life, woven with color, texture, fabric, and fiber.
